A marketing graduate from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Helen specializes in quality work management and the specialized pricing of financial instruments. Lost in New York for about four years, she discovered NYSA through a chance gathering and now makes NYSA a home away from home.

Karen Chan is one of the very very few Singaporean IT professionals in New York City. She joined NYSA in the hope of getting to know more Singaporeans, esp. in the IT line, so that at least when her other friends start talking about finance, she won't feel so "blurred out".

A veteran of NYSA's committee board, Susan is a newly married and relocated new yorker. A 'temp' housewife, she hopes to draw on her many years of experience as a business development manager with Schneider Electric SEA, to rejoin the work force upon settling into her new life.

The mother of Singapore's music Prodigy Clare Yeo, Kirsty moved from Sunny Singapore to Seasonal New York to look after her children. Seeking a haven like home, Kirsty found her comfort zone in NYSA activities and now helps to organize them.

Hazel Chionh
Hazel's primary role is to foster better working relationships with sponsors, clients, and with other special interest groups working together with NYSA. Her secondary role includes working together with the Finance Chair for fundraising efforts. Outside of work, she loves listening to indie bands and alternative rock music.

Restaurant Associates' Chef of the Year for 2006, Zaina is well versed in many different forms of cuisine, from French to South East Asian, just ask her and she'll be more than happy to teach you a thing or two about cooking sumptuous, delicious meals.
